Details: | This is a really stupid drop-shipper. She accused me of sending a counterfeit book and demanded a refund without return. Then she had her buyer (LITTLE OWL PREP, 3323 STANLEY AVE, DAYTON, OH 45404-2022) return the "counterfeit" book. Then she retracted her claim and said it wasn't my book at all but another seller (book quest) that sent the counterfeit book. Now I have someone else's counterfeit book being returned to me and she wants to know how to fix this. I told her to stop drop shipping since it is prohibited to use marketplace sellers for drop shipping, and she replies, "I consider it online arbitrage", also not allowed on Amazon. There are tons of dropshipper, resellers and arbitrage sellers on Amazon, but this one is the dumbest I've ever seen. If Amazon doesn't shut this one down, none of them will be. |

Just got an amazon order for a camera from this phone number. They are asking if I can send it to a UPS store to hold. The buyer is located in Downingtown, PA. What do you think? Thanks for posting them on here!

I'm a little confused. I've received 2 packages now addressed to someone I don't know, but with that 412 number listed in the initial report - are these considered fraud shippings? What am I supposed to do with them?

This person "Jeanne" has ordered the same cd from me three days in a row. And cancelled it three days in a row. Always to the same address, in North Conaway NH 03860-5342. She does cancel before I get it dropped off in the mail. but I have flagged this phone number for scam. Appears they use different name??? Jeanne Fernandez to me.

Just got a "Where's my stuff?" request from Amazon for a book that was delivered today (why are these people so predictable?). Same phone number, new name: "Michael Johnson", mailing address in North Carolina.

Uh oh. I just shipped an order of an electronic item to this phone number from Amazon, to Juneau, Alaska. It has a 5 digit extension on the phone number. Name is Brian. I'm super nervous now.

Oh what a relief! I just found the explanation from another website: "popeye • Posted 23 Oct 2019
Actually, this is an Amazon number which is used to shield the purchaser's actual phone number. After you enter a code, they connect you -- it prevents anyone from seeing the actual phone number of the buyer. so these comments refer to different buyers. Amazon uses several of these shield phone numbers now."
This makes total sense now.

I just received a package from Walmart addressed to me with a telephone number of 412-532-4665 (not my telephone number). Contents is 2 erasable PaperMate pens. I never ordered these pens from WalMart or anywhere else. Delivered by FedEx. The Shipped Label states "Bill Sender."

Can anyone shed any light as to what is going on here. I ordered 4 snap ware containers 3 years ago from Walmart. I ordered 4 more from amazon 4 days ago for $ 33. They will not arrive until Nov 6-7, have not shipped yet. I received 4 snap ware containers last night from Walmart for $ 22. Ordered by a guy named Alan in California, delivered FedEx Ground, same phone number above. I checked my Credit Cards none have been charged the $22 or the $33???

Sounds like your Amazon order was fulfilled by Walmart. Perhaps Alan is the seller on Amazon and he purchased them through Walmart for resale on Amazon. The phone number is an Amazon number. Keep an eye on your credit card bill and see what you are charged.

This number is an Amazon number redirecting to the buyer, it's not actually the buyers personal phone number if you didn't already know.

Got a small package today with "stickers", says it is a commercial sample with a value of $5. It says it is from China Post! Don't know what to think of this. It doesn't seem to relate to anything I have ever bought or ordered.

Similar to another post, I received Band-Aid tape in the mail ordered through Walmart. The package is addressed to me with my name, but the same phone number is used. Seriously what is going on here? Why is my name and address being used? Why would someone purchase this item just to have it shipped to me in Henderson, Nevada? I googled the phone number and found this site. Why do I feel like everyone on here probably has a link to Amazon in one way or another.... Is that the common thread and if so Amazon needs to handle this!

If you received a package, but you did not make the purchase I would highly recommend you cancel all of your credit cards and get new card numbers. This could be the scam where they see if the purchase goes through and if it does they will start making bigger purchases with your card which will now get sent to other addresses or wherever they can pick them up.

I posted a message above where a package was sent to my house with my name and address, but I did not place the order. I called Walmart and they were kind enough to give me the last four of the credit card. Luckily it is not my credit card, but they are using someone else’s credit card ending in 0425. I asked Walmart to flag the Credit card so hopefully they will not use it there again, but they probably still have access. I sincerely hope who’s ever card it is they have since had the card blocked. These people are lowlifes!

Received 2 gift bags from Walmart that we did not order ($1.34 each). The invoice says it was ordered by Lyla Ghafoori in Fullerton, CA, but shipped to us. Also states 3rd party billing. The Amazon phone number is listed above the Ship to name/address (412-532-4665). Will try calling both Walmart/Amazon to make sure fraud is not occurring.

How do you know this? Or are you trying to get random people to harass someone you have had a personal problem. Anyone reading this should beware of the last post.

I got Shea Miracle hair pudding (about $3 on WM.com) that I did NOT order. Package is from Walmart, same phone number as above, MY Amazon name on the package (which is not the same as I have on my Walmart account). It's definitely tied back to Amazon some how. Lady at Walmart says none of my cards were used for the purchase, but can't explain how my address got on this.
I DID order something else on Amazon that was drop shipped through Walmart, also arrived today, but I *did* order that one. It as no phone number on it, though.

I really don't get the purpose of this scam. I received sunglasses from China in the mail, the phone number on the package being the 412 number. I have 0 fraudulent charges on my accounts, just have sunglasses that I don't want or need, and the freaked out feeling that these people know where I live. I have no orders for this in my Amazon account, no charges in either personal or business checking account, and no charge on my credit card. If there was a charge, I could just report it to my bank, but this is just ominous.

Not sure if this is related, but It looks like Amazon might be masking people's real phone numbers using this number plus an extension value. However, it could be that other companies are re-selling product listings on their sites using Amazon (this happens to my products all the time). I am an Amazon Seller and a customer in my town made an order with this phone number on the contact details and it is not our area code and found out that the number entered is not what she put in, so somehow it is getting masked.

Just got an package with NOTHING in it, with this phone number, saying it was sent from Balyun disrtrict via China Post. Also had a 5 digit extension after the same 412 phone number. Product description says it is a dress, but the package is an envelop about 6" x 8" big, so not a dress. No charges on my CC but have had 2 prior Amazon Prime shipments sent to me and charged to my card, so maybe connected??

I received a package from a Gary Berlingeri of si camera in New York that I did not order. It was a candle in a little metal holder. it said the cost was $18.73. I did not order this and do not know who this company is. I kept close records of my credit card and bank accounts in this did not go through on my account so I don't know who was supposed to get this but it has that same for 412 area code and phone number. I've have been afraid to call because I figure it is a scam.

I just received a package of seeds from China and was charged after looking through my bank statements. I never ordered anything on the day I was charged either. The phone number listed is the same everyone is mentioning. This person needs to be shut down!
