The Bill To address was listed as Gloria Shackmaster in Philadelphia, PA, and the Ship To address was listed as Gloria Shackmaster, 331 N. Mountainview St., Santa Ana, CA 92703. The transaction authorized through our credit card system, and it was indicated as minimal risk through our fraud detection software. Due to the high dollar amount of the sale (2 Garmin GPS tracking systems for dogs), I decided to call the customer to verify. The telephone number listed on the Ship to Address (714-214-0097) is not a working number. When I called the Bill To telephone number, I talked to the credit card holder who claimed she did not place an order with our store. The credit card holder doesn't even own a dog, and this order was for 2 Garmin GPS tracking systems. I voided the credit card transaction, and reported this crime to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center. I also advised the customer to report this to her credit card company and to let them know that someone in California is trying to use her credit card to make fraudulent purchases on her card.
