Details: | Customer purchased items January 8th 2019. I shipped same day. Delivery via EasyPost shows January 12th 2019. Customer emails June 20th 2019 (yes nearly 6 months later) "So its come to my attention that this order has never been received. Its an old one and you can see from the tracking info from USPS that they never received this shipment. Can you please get this resolved for me and the order re-sent out asap?" I check Via USPS and have them run a trace and file a lost package. USPS.com shows "waiting to receive package" as if it had never been received. I contact my Webhost who provided the tracking they say the same thing ,"usps shows waiting to receive item.." july 19th 2019 - I reship. I then email my webhost who confirmed USPS's status of "waiting on package" to refund me the original shipping. HERE's WHERE THE FRAUD COMES OUT- July 22nd 2019 (monday) They respond the following the weekend "we can not credit it back it turns out it was DELIVERED - Heres the EasyPost USPS Tracking link (https://track.easypost.com/djE6dHJrXzYyMzRmOTkyNGFmZTQ4YjA5MzJmZTZhNTFkMjkyNGU4)...apparently USPS Tracking Numbers are reset/purged/made available for reuse.." So approximately 5.5-6 months (verified dozens of orders from the same time period up until mid february) ALL SHOW AS "waiting for package" and have been reset regardless of original status. Customer apparently knew about this loophole when he "randomly" emailed me saying it came to his attention he hasnt received his items etc. I tried to stop delivery July 22nd but it was too late. I then emailed customer he has received the original order why did he say otherwise? Avoided the question and refused to send back the re-shipment. Anyways figure im screwed, be careful of customers claiming items not received post 5.5months OUT OF THE BLUE. |
