Details: | I run a small LGS and have been selling a lot of my product online as many other's during these times. I sold 4 Pokemon Sun & Moon Burning Shadows booster boxes to the buyer, Migmo818, on March 26th and shipped them out within 24 hours via UPS. The buyer is in California and I'm in NC so it took about a week to get to them. I received notification of deliver and almost instantaneously received a claim that they were "fake" and the buyer requested a return. The buyers messages seemed so scripted it was scary, I have all the screen shots of them as well. I immediately sent Mercari support a message and providing them with the invoices from my distributors and pictures of the boxes being packed up. I shipped through Mercari, not on my own. They said they can't do anything and it depended on the return team which eventually approved the return and the buyer used the return label. The package came USPS Priority and when it was delivered this morning I immediately took pictures of myself opening the box and what I found inside were 2 of the 4 booster box packaging opened and a bunch of opened packs. I haven't counted them yet, but rough estimate is about half of the packs from the entire order. 4 booster boxes w/36 packs each would be 144 packs, so he maybe sent 70 or so packs, all opened up with the valuable cards removed |

User's Mercari Profile is https://www.mercari.com/u/710459979/
He has changed his username from "Migmo818" to "Mike". Probably getting too much heat under the original user name.

This report is slanderous and defamous in nature. The entire scenario has been fabricated. What happened was that he sent 4 booster boxes that were counterfeit. Poor counterfeits, most easily identified by the stamped barcode that was missing on the inside flap. I submitted these photos to Mercari, which I still have on file. That is the reason they approved the return. Yes, I opened the boxes, that is how I found that the barcodes were missing. However, I left the actual packs in tact. Why would I want counterfeit Pokémon cards? It makes no sense.
I have evidence of the entire report and photos of the counterfeits that he sent that were approved counterfeit by Mercari.
I will ask nicely the first and hopefully last time.
Please take this report down. In the very least, remove the last name and address.

You're a damn liar scumbag. You know damn well what you did. Every single reverse holo, holo rare, ultra rare, secret rare were gone. Only common, uncommon and energy remained. In top of that, you only returned roughly 68 open packs out of 144. If they were fake, why keep all the valuable cards and not return everything? I have screen shots where you said you didn't open them and were returning all 4 sealed. Should I post them as well as more evidence of how you're a liar? You're an absolute scumbag who takes advantage of a broken system and steal from others. The people at Mercari don't know the difference, they just automatically assume you're telling the truth. And you know that and took advantage. Don't worry, I'm following the case against you closely and you deserve to get whatever you got coming to you.

Looks like he changed his name again on Mercari. It's now "Hi-Desert Treasures". They also have a website at https://www.hideserttreasures.com/
Please be sure to stay away from this scammer. It's likely anything you purchase from him are stolen goods. If you have any additional information regarding them, please submit it to https://www.uspis.gov/ and reference C#1933858. I've already provided them with his latest comment he made here and the new information I found.

Its most exceedingly awful piece was that the item just worked intermittently and the data was not exact. You plainly canot go up against anyone about what you have found if the information isn't right.
