Details: | Buyer submitted claim and requested exchange of first batch of iPads purchased due to unforeseen software issues. Prepaid return label was immediately provided. As soon as the return label received a scan by Fed-Ex, the replacements were shipped out. Buyer received replacements in less than 48 hours from time of claim submission. Buyer had agreed to cancel the return request once the replacements were received (eBay did not provide a replace option, only return, but eBay CS was contacted and informed of this deal). Buyer then would not cancel the request, even though he continuously said he would do so. It became obvious this buyer was simply waiting out the clock until the refund deadline passed wherein eBay automatically issued the refund. Theft, plain and simple. eBay eventually reversed the refund since they had been previously informed of this arrangement and CS agreed the buyer obtained this refund through fraudulent means. |
