Details: | This buyer purchased an expensive evening gown. Instead of requesting a return, she altered the gown extensively and then wore it. She then contacted me stating that it was not as described. She included pictures of the alterations she had made. She told me she could not return it because she had made alterations but demanded a full refund. So to summarize, she wanted to keep the gown and get a full refund. On the date that I was able to escalate, I did. Ebay found in my favor, did not refund the buyer and closed the case. |

Proof that PA has wack jobs! She was trying to scam you thats for sure! Not to smart either, what in their mind (if this story is true) makes her think that she can make alternations and then demand a refund. Her thinking was that she would be something expensive for an event (off eBay which is redicilously cheap and tacky), once the event was over send it back. Its what you women do anotherwise with a twist, you women buy something, wear it and then try to return it - thts why you dont pull the tags off. This one was just one step further. SHe was stupid enough to include pictures to admit her own fraud - this story cant be 100% true, but on the other hand when it comes to human intelligence nothing surpises us!

Unfortunately, my story is 100% true. I have been selling on ebay since 1998 and this was a first for me.

Thats why I said its just to wacko to be true! But also selling online, we know now! Buyers have the gawl and think they can do whatever they want. Even when it comes to threatening them with legal action they think they can still do what whatever they want. Its not all but you get that certain percentage that you want to stick a boot up you know where. ---Proof of how dumb people are and the gawl buyers have to ask for things - what goes inside their head when they think of things like that "duh aduah duah".
