Ebay item 271258965302 was listed and sold as “For parts or not working”. When shipped, item would “light up” and boot to bios. In email member Lexumed admits to working on the laptop; quote from Lexumed’s email:
“Yes I did a little manipulation;
I changed the memoir to see if it works then I put the originals in their place .
I'm opening the keyboard to see if all parts are attached.”
If laptop was indeed “non working” upon receipt, member should have immediately repackaged the item and returned it for a refund. Instead, item was not shipped back until 8 days after the initial contact and was return in different packaging. We should not be held responsible for damage done to item while member Lexumed was working on it or attempting repairs.

Our position is that eBay member Lexumed may have engaged in parts swapping and has returned eBay auction item after swapping good parts for defective parts. If item was in-fact dead upon arrival as claimed, item should have shown no signs of attempted repair, should have been returned in original packaging and should not have been shipped 8 days after originally claiming item was not as described.
