This customer purchase a brand new Epiphone Wildkat guitar with case with warranty. He claims it was damaged during shipping. Then claimed we shipped a damaged guitar. I have 100% proof in pictures and video that we shipped a brand new guitar and he (or someone at that end) dropped the guitar. It was clearly dropped on it's side, bounced and dropped on the face/front. The neck was broken, the toggle switch was damaged and the neck pickup popped out and damaged the paint & wood on the top. None of this could occur during shipping in a Epiphone hardshell case (and boxed with packing paper). Even worse, it's possible that is not our guitar! It appears the label was removed and put into this broken guitar!
This buyer filed a claim against my store and as explained by Pay Pal they stand on the side of the buyer and gave him a refund. Pay Pal stated that they don't care about pictures as proof, and I can't prove I sent a new guitar. Now I'm out $475 + 2X shipping charges of $35! Deep in a hole because of this scammer!
