Customer was very demanding about information regarding several radios. After the first contact about a sale he demande a better price because of his ill father, he was a on a budget.
I gave him a very fair price he agreed upon. After the payment he wanted to have co tact via WhatsApp, again no problem for me.
I send him pictures about the radio and a working movieclip. I also posted it before on my YouTube channel so buyers could see it in working state.
I also send him pictures of the packing like I always do so the customer can see it's packed very good for the long journey and know what to expect but also for insurance.
After the shipping the customer was worried and he even wanted to call me. No problem again, I comforted him and assured him he would receive his package. Once the package reached customs they are not trackable until released. Normal for me shipping over +100 radios abroad but he had worries. He send me some threatening messages about we had to call US Customs to release his package. Again I called him an comforted him and he apologied for the fact he was pushing about customs and gave the fould to USPS .
Once he received the package the radio was "broken" and did not match my description of the advertisement. I showed him pictures and a video of another radio. He send me pictures and a video of the radio not working. I told him before that if he wasn't happy about anything he could send it back and I would do a full refund.
He refused in any way to have contact and he would file a police report and send his lawyer didn't matter if I was abroad. Very threatening. And he also didn't agree about sending the radio back. I had 12 hours to do a full refund.
I tell you why I agreed on this idiotic demands.
I spend honestly hours and hours on this guy anwering his questions and demands for only $300
My partner told me during the proces he wouldn't pay after all for the radio several times. But I had already invested so much time and I'm a good guy.
We have a 5 star rating and are top seller on Etsy. I even got a 5 star rating of a man that didn't buy due to a send back and refund! He was very happy about the way we communicated trough out and solved the issue.
But this guy I suspect of sabotaging the radio himself and I suspect this is his way of working because he mentioned another case of buying a radio from Italy similair my case with him went.
Even after refunding we got a bad rating
