Fraudulent misuse of eBay buyer protection policy. Sold her an Xbox 360, she said it had RROD (4 lights). I told her 4 lights indicates faulty AV connection. She said she tried 3 different cables (I'd later found this to be a lie), so I told her to send it back and, upon receiving and testing to verify a problem, I would issue a refund. Well, I got it back, plugged it in, it fired right up; no issues whatsoever. I even played for a couple hours for good measure. She opened a case with zero evidence; I videoed my entire process - opening the return, hooking it up to show it works - all documented. Naturally, she won the case. I appealed, she still won. She even sent a message stating she opened the case to the Xbox; I guess to "check things out"...poke around, see why the RROD? I don't really know. So, the item wasn't returned in the same condition, but eBay didn't care. It works. I can resell it, but not for nearly as much; not with a case that has now been tampered with.
Just did a background check, she has about a half-dozen aliases and the same amount of active addresses - reeks of fraudulent activity!
