Details: | This buyer holds sellers HOSTAGE by opening a return case via eBay. The buyer purchased an item from us, claimed defective and opened a return case requesting a to return the item. However, the buyer requested a replacement item, rather than a return (refund). We explained to the buyer that the case type he opened prevented us from providing a replacement, but we agreed to send a replacement anyway (in order to work with the buyer and his issue) but we requested he close the case so that we could be aligned with the request type. He lied and stated once the replacement was received he would close the case. Once the item was received he ignored our communication and the case was not closed. We communicated numerously (roughly 10 times) to close the case as the item was received. He then lied and stated he would close the case once we sent a return label for the original item. We sent a return label and requested the case be closed. he ignored us once again and the case was not closed. He then stated he wanted us to send a box to have the item sent back. After requesting he send the previous item via one of the 2 boxes we sent our items in, he claimed he had no box and escalated the case via eBay claiming "Seller will not work with me". I called eBay and had the case decided in our favor due to his lies and because the replacement item was received and all requests granted to the buyer with exception to the box (we cannot simply send a box). Please block this idiot. He uses the eBay system unethically and with lies. Stating "I will close the case..." time and time again only to hold the seller hostage by not being man enough to hold himself to his promises, even though we did everything we promised and kept up to. |
