Buyer ordered all the way back in January (3 months ago) and his order was complected within 2 days of him placing his order. 3 months later i get a chargeback of $54.99 customer claimed he did not make the transaction. I respond to paypal with ALL the necessary information that they have asked for. Usually that helps me win the despites but for whatever reason not this one. It is scary how easy it is to screw over an online seller. Even after i have provided every single bit of information on this guy to paypal i still lost. and that is a hour and a half wasted responding to the despite with screenshots not to mention the money i have lost filling is order AND the money i lost from his chargeback plus an additional $20 because of a chargback fee i am looking at a $105 loss from a simple $54.99 order and all this guy had to do was click 3 buttons and he had set his charge back in motion. I wish there was a way to protect sellers like us from this. |
