Purchased a soil meter which was marked as open box. After receiveing it, contacted me demanding a complete refund through Paypal, claiming the item was used and missing parts. When I asked him to explain why he felt this way and what was missing he mentioned the box was worn (which was mentioned in the listing) and the pen was dirty (it had dust on it and accretion inside the pen from the cheimcals contained therein). He would not provide any list of any items missing (it wan't missing anything). He became very abusive and threatened to leave bad feedback if I didn't refund him immediately. I told him to return the item and I would refund him, which only angered him more and brought about more abusive language. He then left negative feedback claiming I sold him used goods and was trying to scam him. Based on his actions I can only conclude that he was attempting to extort me to provide a refund under the threat of bad feedback. I provided this information to eBay and they agreed, removing his feedback.
