Yea, this is a network of companies that create new profiles using the same phone numbers and either their real buyers first name/address or an alternative name shipping to the real buyers name/address. Either way, they become ruthless in the pursuit of the refund unless you can prove delivery. I highly suggest signature confirmation on anything of significant value.

This site is a great help. Just got 2 orders with the same name and address and noticed that the phone numbers were different. Both are on this site with various names and addresses.

Glad to help. The downside of being an Amazon seller is that we either take the hit to our metrics to cancel the order, or we risk losing product and still taking a metric hit. We are in a lose, lose without proof of delivery.

I just found out that Amazon has a bunch of phone numbers with extensions for every customer to prevent us from knowing their real numbers. The phone number here is one of them. The main number is not the fraudulent buyer.

This is fraud network of Indian, fraud dropshipper, and ask for refund whatever you can prove delivered.

I got an order with number +1 314-282-9402 ext. 34877. Googled it and got here. First, I was thinking that this my order is scam but then I found out that this customer (Amanda) buying from me the third time. So, I tend to think this number is the result of Amazon manipulation with customer's details.

Received inauthentic complaint in messages for a beauty item from this phone number. If this shuts me down, I'm going to be pissed.

Received small package from China as well, and did not order. Had this phone number attached with ext. 20285. May be part of a credit card scam in which they created an Amazon account in my name and ordered other items and had sent to me. The strangest thing ever. Canceled card.

This is a different 'strange' - I *did* order from a 3rd party seller on Amazon and am expecting my order to be delivered in the next day or two (it has arrived at the nearby FedEx facility). The package has my correct address but underneath my address is this phone number 314 282-9402 which is not my number. Googled and landed here. Not sure what to make of this, is a seller on amazon scamming my address? (FWIW, a friend ordered this exact item from same seller a month ago, and received the expected item, no incident so far.)

idiots. this is Amazon's number they use to mask customer's real numbers. you people are cancelling real orders for nothing.

I just received a box from Ireland, for something I did not order. The customs declaration said it was for Men's gloves, but it was a box of shamrock shortbread cookies. I called Amazon, since the label had a bunch of references to amazon with customer number and an amazon email extension. Amazon could not find any reference to the item, I don't have an account with the combined names of me & my husband, and the phone number noted "314-282-9402, x04974" is an answering service for "ASQ". I will try calling the sender, but this is disturbing.

I just got an order from 1 314-282-9402 ext. 62747. Glad I double checked this website. I will go ahead and cancel. I'm going to notify Amazon, though I doubt they'd do anything about it.

hello there,, not sure if anyone is still active on here or not. I am not an Amazon seller or drop shipper of any kind, however this number has called me 5 times today. I ended up just blocking the number but still strange,, right ?
