Buyer bought a perfectly working iPhone 6s, asked for a reduction from £230 to £200 as it was a gift for her 15 year old daughter (there is no 15 year old daughter, just a 4 year old son), I agreed the reduction. Once she recieved the phone she said there was a small white spot on the screen but she’s happy with that as long as I have her a partial refund of £30. When I asked for a photo as evidence she said she wanted a full refund as the screen didn’t work and eBay would give her one as they always side with the buyer.
On advice from ebay I agreed a return and the phone had no fault and all her photos were on it. eBay did not care it was a fraudulent return and issued a refund. This woman uses eBay to buy and sell used iPhones and tried to get a full working phone cheap to sell at a profit. Beware!
