Purchased LiPo batteries for RC Airplane. Cut plug off of one battery shorting it out then returned it for replacement. Battery also had severely dented end, indicating it had been dropped. He didn't tell me he had cut the plug off to install a different one until it was already in the mail to me for evaluation. I played the nice guy and waited until I received it and tested it before refusing to refund/replace. eBay threw me under the bus stating I should have immediately told him I would not refund/replace since the product had been modified. Testing indicated the battery had been shorted out. This could have happened when the plug was removed or when the battery was dropped. At any rate, this guy knew what he was doing. The address is for a "FREEPORT FORWARDING INC." to send it on to him in Canada since the USPS will not ship LiPo outside of the country.
