Buyer bought my water damaged iPhone 6. He was able to restore it, and demanded my passcode. I called eBay for their official policy, which is: never release your passcode, buyer is responsible for contacting apple for a full factory reset.

Buyer became irate, sending multiple messages both on eBay and to my personal email (available from PayPal) swearing and threatening me, and including bizarre biblical quotes to boot. He eventually filed a return saying the phone was "stolen."

eBay initially sided with him, but upon appeal, they sided with me (had documentation to prove my phone wasn't stolen).

Don't believe the guy's positive feedback. Scammer, through and through.

Really distressing to go through.
