Buyer used the zip code scam where they create a return with using the wrong address but correct zip code and ship a random item back. eBay recognizes the return was received through the zip code but the returned item can not be delivered to the seller because the address doesn’t actually exist. Buyer then opens a claim that is automatically in their favor and the original seller has no way to respond. eBay doesn’t honor the seller protection because they see an item was shipped back to the seller even if the seller doesn’t have their original item in hand. BETTER BUSINESS Bureau complaints with detailed proof from the seller will win this case as it did for me.
