| Details: | On 12/20/11 this buyer bought an item from my online store and used Google checkout to pay.
The item was shipped the same day and was delivered on 12/23/11.
(I have delivery confirmation that shows it as being delivered)
Today (12/29/11) I get a notice from Google that this buyer tried to do a chargeback saying they did not get the item.
I have proof it as delivered so I am not sure what kind of scam this buyer is trying to do. All delivery confirmation information was posted to the site the day the item shipped.
So beware of this buyer since she obviously buys then tries to scam you our of your money with false claims.
Since I provided all the information needed, I am sure Google with dismiss this false claim but as sellers, we need to be warned against thieves like this one. |

I had delivery confirmation to prove she receive the item but she won still. It was because her address was unconfirmed on PayPal. She had USD28.14 back, and I had to be punished by her credit card center of USD20.00.

Wow, thank you so much for posting this. You actually just saved me some money and the most important helped to not get into her scamming net. So she cannot think that she is the smart one can fool everybody else. I just had to deal with her on Ebay. She did exact thing to me, well she tried, but internet such a great thing now days, you can find everything, no info is hidden. I have reported her and won a case. Holy crap she did the same thing to me on ebay. I am a recent full-time seller. I recently became disabled and had to quit my job as a nurse. Ebay is now my bread and butter. She messaged me that the item arrived stuffed with tissue paper and no blouse inside. It seemed fishy, but I refunded her anyway because I wanted to protect my 100% feedback rating and my top-rated seller status. I just did a google search of her and this website came up! I am in shock...

Got me too. She received the item today. She emailed me that newspaper was in the package and it had been retaped. I asked her today to take pictures. She emailed back that it was not newspaper but tissue paper and that she went to the trash and it was already gone. Thank you to whomever posted this website as her "good" feedback!

She did the same to me. Luckily I had shipped it priority mail and therefore I had insurance. I asked her to send me a picture of the package and she claimed that she had thrown it away. Ebay claimed said it was up to her to file a claim at that point. Below is her message to me about her missing item.

She made a new ebay account: summergirl1963-6 with matching email: summergirl1963@gmail.com. Still using the Cynthia Harney,
12300 rock Hill Rd, unit 4013 to have items sent. Now claiming she doesn't have access to a camera, but still claiming as follows:
"I picked this package up at the post office a little while ago. I opened the package, it looked like it had been opened and retaped. the polish was missing, there was some tissue paper in the package. i don't know what happened but wanted to let you know. i;m bummed. I really do not want another one, is some kind of refund possible? even half"

Continued from above..... Reported to Ebay, along with this website address so they can match it to all complaints above. She actually made a duplicate account to buy from me again (which I also reported) as she was blocked last time. I keep a record of the worst buyers and it easily matched previous problems. Hopefully she'll be shut down asap.

11.15.17 Her new eBay ID is gramaan-le5zufvds, but the name displayed is Maryann Lowe - you don't see Cynthia Harney until the item is paid for and the shipping details arrive. Same scam: someone cut open the package, stole what was inside, then thoughtfully taped it back up and sent it along to her. Reported to eBay and the authorities, but seeing her history here it's obvious nothing will be done about it.

Same Story as above. Bought a loft shirt on eBay, claimed she got a bag with white tissue paper and no shirt. I immediately called eBay and they told me to start the refund process. Same story as above....claimed she rec'd package with only tissue paper in it. I checked her feedback from other sellers and she has done this to at least 5 other sellers on eBay. When I told her she was busted and I was reporting her to eBay, she posted a negative feedback claiming I was the scammer and sent only tisssue paper. I did report her and hopefully something will be done soon.

This happened to us as well. She claimed to receive a package without the items and just the tissue paper. Also that she did not want new items that we could just refund her. We are not on eBay, so it seems like she is trying to do it to everyone. Hopefully, people will continue to report and think to look it up before falling for her scam.
