Buyer registers on eBay (0 feedback, new account), buys item (Beats by Dr Dre Mixr Red Headphones Brand New Retail Boxed), requests most economical shipping method (First Class International), waits for me to box and ship it and send "tracking number" (which is just a customs number), then cancels eBay account (no longer registered user), but files an "Item Not Received" with PayPal (even though the item has only been less than 1 week since shipped). eBay sends me a warning message about Suspicious user on him. Despite this, and proof of my shipping the item (I personally dropped it off at Post Office so I have the drop off receipt), and the suspicious buyer report from eBay, PayPal forces me to refund all the money because (as I know now), the package will not show "delivered" because it is not a tracking number.

This is a scam that is used to steal merchandise from US buyers. The only way to protect yourself is to use a trackable mailing method with signature confirmation if possible-- that means USPS Express Mail, UPS, FedEx, etc. which of course costs more, but that's the only way to do business with overseas buyers for items that are worth more than a few bucks that you can't afford to write-off.
