Stumbled across this very old complaint today! In my 40 year self-employed career I have had issues with 5 or 6 customers who take the low road and misrepresent the facts.We who watch or listen to the media have terms like "fake News " and " alternate facts " to figure out in situations large and small ! Take the anonymous complaint above, for instance.....Disputes involving eBay
are for the protection of the buyer and seller. Each case has a time frame given to settle between the seller and buyer. eBay and / or PayPal hold the funds until a decision is made ( NOT the buyer or seller ! ) ! So the statement "And refuses to close the case, holding the money he paid hostage! " is not factual. In ten years working with eBay / PayPal I have been treating fairly and honestly, with reasonable response times and clarification given .
