Seriously?? This NJ individual is committing mail fraud (among breaking other laws), and I've been told by eBay that they're working to take legal action against him. It actually doesn't matter, as what this dirtbag doesn't realize is that this time he tried pulling his scam on a FEDERAL PROSECUTOR. So, dirtbag, if you think you're going to pull this scam many more times on other unsuspecting victims (eBay sellers and buyers), you better do it ASAP as I personally will ensure you're imprisoned for a long, long time.

After having this criminal steal my item and my money I called USPS to file a complaint and I called Ebay to report this customer and how he's pulling off this scam. Ebay doesn't care. If the item is not marked "DELIVERED" they will not refund your money.
He has your item delivered to this address which is some kind of warehouse that receives 'bulk' (Firm Book) packages....therefore none of the packages in the lot get marked delivered and so he can complain as 'not delivered' and gets his money back. The people that work at this location know he him and know he's doing it.
I closed my Ebay account and will never use USPS again. I opened a case, explained the situation, and still they could not mark my item as delivered even though they have VIDEO of it being delivered.

This guy continues to make bogus screen names on eBay and then messages you linking a recently closed auction, hoping you won't notice he is not the actual buyer but an intruder, linking to the same sale. He then asks you to ship to a new address for (any number of bullshit reasons) and hopes you ship him your item, which you'll then never see again.

eBay is largely to blame for not protecting sellers and actually forcing them to come out of pocket for the lost item, in order to refund the REAL buyer. It's a shame that a company with the valuation of eBay is so unwilling to shoulder the financial burden caused by flagrant scamming on their own platform.

Same scam: tried to hijack the shipment, but I replied that I had to ship to the PayPal confirmed address. But basically, I was fooled. Following eBay's seller protection policy (ship to confirmed PayPal address) saved me. When I did actually look at the alternative address, it was a photo of an address, which I think he does to evade eBay's mail detection security. When the name was Georgian/Russion ("vili" at the end of the name is Georgian--like Stalin's last name), I got so suspicious that I googled and found this site. He gave me the "Teona Buiglishvili" name, but in Brooklyn. So then I saw his newly-registered 0-feedback eBay ID was registered in California, the legit user's PayPal was in Colorado, and it was being changed to Brooklyn. Also, a Russian name itself is a major red flag these days. I expect he'll become smart enough at some point to stop using names that are obviously Russian.

I am dealing with the same SCAMMER. EBay is not willing to accept that they have a scam going on and can't stop it. They put my money on hold even though the tracking number shows the item was delivered.

Now another person opened 'non delivery' case against me because of this scammer and EBay is not being helpful at all. Looks like I might be out of the item and money. Yet, EBay will allow this scammer to continue his 'work'.

Don't blame Ebay, blame yourself cause you haven't noticed the message was from a person who didn't buy the article. The original buyer was legit.

Report it to your local police. They will forward it to DE local police, who will find out who it is and arrest. It might actually go to the FBI as was done on a similar case on eBay. We ended up getting our $$ back over years. REPORT REPORT REPORT! Police don't mind making a report and catching these jackasses!

Same thing just happened to me today from a new user ID 5 minutes after my iPhone 11 sold. I mean he emailed from a completely different account, the idiot. I immediately contacted Ebay because I knew this was a scam, and of course they said to ship to confirmed address, etc to be covered and had zero care these assholes exist and are doing this to their sellers. One thing I do know is always get signature delivery for high ticket items for proof of delivery. When you request signature proof, they have to sign or it won't be left, other wise the shipper takes the hit.

You have to report it ASAP. Also, let them know that it is happening to lots of others and give them this website. This will be an interstate postal crime that will get the FBI involved. I know because 12 years ago, something similar happened and the FBI did get involved and many of us got restitution over the years and the guy went to prison in Oklahoma. If you are a victim, please report to your police department and they will file a report. You may also want to contact the FBI and let them know about this website and all the folks getting scammed as this crosses state lines and also becomes their jurisdiction.

Not sure why you are posting this transaction unless you are saying that a new scam is to claim they got a bad part and want a refund outside of ebay. Otherwise, a headlight is not the typical high value item, and I don't see how this can be a scam. You might respond:

I think this guy will try to steal anything. No, it is not a high value item, it was only $40, but I took pictures from every angle, and it was in practically new condition and packaged carefully. Ignore messages from buyers about address changes. Just follow the shipping links on eBay. No problem.

Same person just got me for a $1200 handbag. Have reported to eBay, but no help! Filling out the FBI form as we speak. This makes me so angry! Yes, it was partially my fault, but people really do have legit situations arise! Trying to be a good seller!

So this week on March 3 2021, it all came crashing on me realizing I was scammed by a fake user ge2015_na on eBay. I fell for it not realizing it wasn’t the real seller and shipped an $800 dollar drone to the same address list here in these complaints. Same scam as the rest described here, item sells and then a user messages you asking to change the address to

I’ve been selling since 1999 on eBay and have never had an issue like this, so I fell for it hook line and sinker. Worst part is eBay will do nothing about it and is charging me a fee for the sold item. One thing that feels off on my experience is the buyer was the rudest strange interaction I’ve had with anyone on eBay in all the years I’ve been on. I truly feel in my gut something is off with the buyer and fake user who scammed, like it was a partnered scam.

I barely noticed the username, gatys-85, was not the same as the real buyer. I replied, "I’m sorry, but I can only ship to the confirmed address on file." When I realized it wasn't even the buyer, I replied "You are not the buyer" and reported to eBay:

Same situation. Fortunately, eBay flags the message: "This user isn't a buyer for this item. For your security, you should keep your conversation with them on eBay and avoid sharing any personal or business information." Username: likom-35, wanted me to send it to:

Sold a $500 graphics cards and after two days of delivery, started a return stating a different card was shipped..

Same thing happened to me. I got scammed $757 iPhone 12 Pro. Reported it to the police station and will follow up and will share this thread to the officer. This needs to be taken care of by the FBI, and I will do whatever I can to get this person(s) caught and get justice.

This individual is using a different ebay ID: bramuham_0. Asked to send my item to a familiar name in this thread- Teona Buiglishvili at 8 McCullough Dr Apat U185742 New Castle, DE 19726 . My buyer is also from New Castle, DE.

This individual pretends to be the buyer and is counting on the seller not noticing that the one emailing about the change of shipping address was indeed the buyer. What a scammer!

The same individual tried to scam again! Be careful.
