Details: | Buyer purchased an LGA775 processor from me. They ordered the wrong type of processor for their PC. Since our prices are so low, we can't afford to have returns due to buyers ordering mistakenly. Our return policy, as listed in the auction, states that we only accept returns of defective merchandise, and that merchandise returned and found to be 100% working will be charged a 20% or $25 restocking fee, whichever is greater. Our policy also states that we must issue an RMA number for return. The buyer initially complained that the processor did not work, but later admitted that it didn't even fit in their CPU socket, hence they ordered the wrong part. They sent the return before even contacting us. We explained our policies, and that we would return to sender, since the part only cost $19.99 with free shipping, the restock fee is more than they paid for the part. They demanded a full refund and left negative feedback. |
