Was there a resolution of this?

Buyer retracted chargeback claim two days after the ring was received. I had to provide complete evidence of shipment and tracking to PAYPAL. My opinion is that the buyer retracted because it was impossible to maintain a chargeback claim under the circumstances. Please read and be familiar with PAYPAL's seller protection and chargeback policies.

I am the buyer and this entire incident was a mistake made by PayPal and not by me. I contacted PayPal as soon as I was made aware of the issue and had them fix the problem. I never filed a chargeback for this item and PayPal returned the money to your account as soon as I called them. This is a slanderous and unfounded claim against me and my business and I would like it removed immediately.

An unauthorized transaction claim can only be initiated by the owner of the account after the item was shipped, not by PAYPAL. As far as I am aware, the owner of the account would have to physically click on the link to claim that a transaction is unauthorized. PAYPAL cannot do that on their own. And, in addition, this unauthorized transaction is eventually cancelled by the buyer, not by Paypal a whole two days after online evidence of delivery showed up. An report on an attempted scam is not slanderous because it happened. In fact, the buyer has slandered me as a seller instead.

You are clearly not aware that PayPal can make mistakes! I initiated a claim against another seller and PayPal unauthorized all the transactions made on my account on that day by mistake. It took over two hours on the phone with them to get them to fix all the transactions, and they told me it would take 48 hours for the sellers to see the reversal of the authorization in their favor. This seller is the one doing the slandering, all over a $21 transaction, over an issue that they clearly don't have the facts on and over an issue that has been 100% resolved and 100% of their money was received by them! Buyers beware of buying from this seller you too could find you and your business slandered!!

I feel for you, sellers don’t use the right website, if they had they wouldn’t even be able to say all these things here, so seller thought the buyer was going to be nefarious, yet nothing happened, just based on that thought, seller reports it here?Yet buyer paid, and it all went well? Just a thought? Didn’t contact buyer.. no..
I just got a bad buyer because a seller didn’t like my 3 star, rating, why? Because I paid by bank, it was irrevocably, yet I had to submit proof of address, (she googled me and found a different address). Apparently it’s weird if people rent. She didn’t want to sell. Out of revenge she reports me here, and no it can’t be deleted.. what a great website
