This buyer was quite difficult from the beginning of the transaction. She kept requesting a delay in payment and although my auctions all clearly state that payment is required within 24 hours of auction's end, I obliged. A week later when she finally paid, she told me to ship the next day, which I found to be rather strange considering she had been in absolutely no rush to pay. Again, as I try to maintain my 100% positive feedback, I shipped immediately. Time goes by, the item is delivered, I don't hear anything for over a week when the buyer contacts me to say the item is "not as described" and "damaged". I know this isn't the case as I am very very careful when listing items and noting any damages. I ask for photos of the damaged area from the same perspective as the photos I used when listing the item for a side by side comparison and the buyer says "no". I call eBay customer support and explain the situation and they recommend writing back to the buyer saying that I spoke with someone from eBay and they said photos would be beneficial in helping to make a decision on the return. I do just this, some time passes, and I receive photos. The photos show that the item I shipped in NON damaged condition now has two large and FORCED holes in very obvious places. I contact eBay again and ask what my next step should be and am told to just wait until the buyer escalates the case and asks eBay to step in, and then eBay will review all the interactions and decide who to side with. I listen to this advice, wait, and eventually receive and really disheartening email informing me that they have sided with the buyer. Just yesterday I receive my damaged item back, in totally non-sellable condition. I am truly upset that I was SO EASILY SCAMMED. Let me also mention as a side note that I do not offer returns on my listings, however, I have made many exceptions for legitimate claims. Situations such as this one make me want to abandon eBay all together.

Omg! So sorry for you. Thank God I did not complete the transaction with her. Similar story in the beginning: item was listed at $40 starting price, she messages me asking to sell at $30. When I agree - she asks to ship asap as she need it for a vacation. I agree again. I send invoice, she says "oh no no I meant $30 WITH Priority shipping included" (shipping was 6$). I rejected of course. Totally unpleasant and shady buyer. Too bad we can't leave appropriate reviews for people like that.
