This guy purchased a $400 vintage milkshake mixer and after receiving the item, messages me saying the item “doesn’t work”. It absolutely does, so I tell him to do BASIC troubleshooting like to switch the outlet. MAGIC! IT WORKS! The guy most likely tried to plug it into a GFCI outlet. Those don’t work with old machines, bud.

The next day I get a message “this is too powerful, it moves when I turn it on, I want to return it”. He most likely was turning it on WITHOUT ANY ICE CREAM IN THE CUP - OF COURSE ITS POWERFUL WITH ZERO RESISTANCE. When I told him that there’s nothing wrong with the machine, he just filed a return stating “something’s wrong with it, it’s too powerful” and also that the mixing blade isn’t “pure”…. Oh lord, one of these assholes! Not sure what “pure” means other than it has some movement in its rotation. ITS A 70 YEAR OLD MACHINE THAT SELLS FOR $800-$1000 RESTORED THAT YOU GOT FOR $400. The gall of some of these snobs - unbelievable!

He was even told BEFORE PURCHASING that the item was being sold in the condition it was in and that any restoration would be on him.

So I had to waste $50 in shipping because this asshole thinks he’s some kind of collector when in reality he doesn’t even know how an electrical outlet works. Maybe take a second to learn how something works before you start wasting other peoples money because you think you’re a collector.

I wouldn’t sell ANYTHING to this idiot unless you want him to cost you money!!
