Interestingly, I just had a purchase from this buyer that didn't show paid in eBay but did in PayPal. The funds were received but now the item can't be delivered due to the business being closed. Am I being set up for something?

This is a potential mail forwarding company. Names are all Georgians so the orders may as well be from Georgia (a country, not the US state :-)

I am glad that eBAY has a huge competitor to its Global Shipping program in a form of these Cargo/Freight forwarding companies and loosing a millions of dollars yearly. But forwarders are not good for honest sellers because of a lot of scammers like the above.

I highly recommend that you do not attempt to sell items to this individual. I sent him an iPhone 5s in excellent working condition. He submitted a refund request to ebay stating the phone was not as advertised and had pink spots on the screen. He also showed a photo of the original box with a different IMEI number. This individual will attempt to scam you using ebay/paypal return policies. I contacted ebay and they reviewed all the communications I had with this individual along with the photos I took and closed the case in my favor. BEWARE!!!!

Forgot to mention, this buyer goes by the ebay name of giorggogichashvil-0. BEWARE this is a dishonest scam artist. Do not attempt to sell your items to him. He will demand refund due to item not as advertised or damaged. I took videos and photos of the iPhone just in case this buyer attempted to scam me. I prevailed and the case is now closed

He's still at it. Sold a phone to someone out west, got the email saying they had to move east to take care of sick relative. The buyer had zero feedback. Quickly refunded. Not today satan.

I sold an iPhone 5s on eBay, and got a message from a user immediately after, saying that they were excited to have won the bid and if I could send it to their new address because they just moved, so I did. Then got a message from the actual buyer wondering where his item was? But it's too late.. already delivered. It's in the scammer's hands... probably will never see it again. They make temporary new eBay profiles, every time they scam. Beware. Their address is 18 Boulden Cir #2, New Castle, DE 19720. I filed a report at ic3.gov.

I got this message today from a buyer with 0 feedback, writing as though they'd won the auction (they had not). I would advise sellers to carefully check who actually bought your item. This scammer seems to rely on the fact that we are all too busy and distracted to catch the fact that they didn't even win the item in the first place.

I just got the SAME email last night as above (sick kid, moved, etc). Sold an iPhone 6, immediately got the email after the sale. But they’ve changed their eBay ID AGAIN to the previous above. These places are mostly industrial warehouses & “safe houses” to receive deliveries, but are not currently occupied.

I got scammed by buyers at this address - though they changed the address header slightly to confuse
In the end ebay reversed the disputes in my favor
Here is the out - its a third party non-confirmed shipping address
As such in eBay rules they can charge the buyer the costs and not get hit
So even after they awarded one my money and the second one filed just as number one claim was awarded in my favor they reversed both in my favor
