So why did you refund her prior to the receipt of the return. This sounding like alot of you novice sellers are doing. Its just you but others like you. YOU NEVER REFUND ANYTHING NOR DO YOU PAY FOR SOMEONE"S RETURN SHIPPING ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY DISPTUE THE ITEM!!! You are not legally required to do so, that is something the buyer has to do. If its a credit card dispute, the a-holes in the credit card industry are all buyer sided. You have to have a terms of sale, return policy, and warranty policy as minimal terms and conditions on your sales. You have to make sure the buyer reads them by saying or having something on the sale order that says she read and agreed to the terms and they cannot continue with the purchase unless something is checkmarked saying they did. Its hard to redispute an item that they buyer didnt bother to returnt he item for xamount of days. You have to look at mail order regulations about it.

To be clear, she did NOT get a refund originally. She was told that she would if if the product came back with original package which it did not! Once the package was received back ruined, smelly and unstoppable ebay requested escalation to an open defect case...which predictably went in favor of the scum buyer despite the photos of the ruined product.

Did you report her and also call eBay? She purchased from me and did the same thing. EBay closed in her favor and took out the money to refund her.

Ebay isnt going to do anything period. The problem is that she could do as much as return a brick and supply a tracking number. Ebay and their automated BS will refund her immediate. Dont know what the misapps if a seller appeals the decision. The only thing you can do to protect yourself is take the BS out of the Ebay resolution center. There's 3rd party insurance companies out there like UPIC that for 50 cents per $100 you can get insurance. You file a claim and at least you can get the money that way.
If you get too many assholes like that bitch hick, then consider a non eBay online store like Ecrater or EBid, because PayPal for non Ebay items are totally different.
