Details: | I shipped this person's item less than 24 hours after payment. 3 days after receiving their item, they claimed a part was missing so I told them I'd overnight it to them for free (still getting the whole item to them extremely quickly and easily within the promised delivery window). They also claimed, untruthfully, that the item had unexpected damage. The item has very slight damage which was thoroughly disclosed and easily seen in photos but seemed to be news to them. The idea they were surprised by damage indicated to me they didn't read the description or see the 11 photos provided. Rather than accept the part, they said they had already returned the rest of it. This is false because we were corresponding about sending the part before the post office could have opened in their timezone. To top it off, they returned it via Priority even though I specified they return using "the most economical shipping method". That way, I had to pay Priority return shipping instead of Parcel Post. Additionally, they haphazardly threw the fragile item back in the box with the bubblewrap off to the side and with much of the voidfill taken out. Without voidfill, the box had caved in by the time I go it back. It is a miracle the item did not break. It had absolutely no damage other than what had been disclosed, confirming my suspicion their claim was untruthful. They did not leave any feedback or have anything kind to say even though I refunded their money and return postage BEFORE even receiving the item back and I asked no questions about their false claim. Having only 6 feedback at the time of purchase, they are a new buyer who probably didn't check the listing well and used an excuse to get out of the transaction. All around, I'm disappointed in this apparently inconsiderate buyer. |
