Details: | The buyer complained about the deliver arriving on Nov 30 when they ordered on Nov29. They complained that a photo was taken of the delivery by the courier. (This raised our suspicions that she had wanted to claim non-delivery to get refund).
The buyer then claimed that the product was not as described, even though it was exactly as described.
We offered a refund if they genuinely were unhappy with the purchase, as long as they sent it back to us.
They simply went straight to Amazon, Amazon immediately gave them a refund without requesting a return, and this means we are now at a total loss of £113.
We now have to wait 30 days to appeal. When asking Amazon why they could give the buyer an immediate refund, yet not bother to ask us, nor check the buyer messaging, it was unreasonable for us to have to wait 30 days.
In any case, we know, and the buyer knows, they have now got the product, and got their money, and we will never get the product returned.
It is wrong that customers cam make fake claims and Amazon doesn't support their sellers in at least requesting a product return. Too many people know how to play this game, and as Amazon don't care about scammers, then it's time we started calling them out here. |
