Received an order for an Apple Macbook at 12:03AM from a legitimate buyer. At 2:53AM I received an email from KA-8465 with the following text: "ew message from: ka-8465 (0)
Hey there! Thanks for the macbook air 13. . I hope all is good with that item.. p.s I wanna change shipping address coz my dad got sick and I have to move out of town to hospital to take care, sorry for bothering and here is the shipping u have to send it please:

I wasn't paying attention that it was a different buyer ID at that point and just responded that I could not change the address within the order and that we would have to cancel and re-enter the order with the correct address. Then a few minutes later I noticed that the buyer ID was different. I reported to eBay security team who seemed clueless about how to properly handle this. Then I googled the address and saw that this address has been involved in countless fraudulent activity since Dec 2017, costing sellers thousands of dollars by eBay's lack of attention to protect sellers by implementing a simply email filter for this address. I called back to eBay and they didn't even have a record of my call from 15 minutes ago! UNACCEPTABLE EBAY! PROTECT YOUR SELLERS FROM THIS KIND OF FRAUD!!
