bookofballards has PRIVATE feedback and did the same thing to me. There is a way to stop bad buyers like this...let them open a case, and accept a return. When it is returned, have the lp graded by a 3rd party. Appeal the decision with this new information. It is the only way to stop buyers like him. He mostly preys on lesser valued lps--claiming they are not as described. That way, he gets free lps, and you the seller EATS THE $18 SHIPPING to him in Japan. Beware of

I'm willing to take a negative feedback hit on my many years old account to not lose a $150+ record he was high bidder on. I'm glad I googled his user name, I'm not letting myself be scammed. Cancelled the sale before he sent any money, i likely get shit feedback but I'll still have my record.

Same thing selling him a record years ago. He's a very angry guy obviously with mental problems who will just straight to accusations the second something goes wrong. Will give negative feedback if something's not 100% perfect or if he insists on a refund. Knows how to play the game.

If you get an order from a person with private feedback, just cancel the order using "something wrong with buyer's address." The "something wrong" doesn't have to be specific - it can be "the guy with private feedback lives there." Then, immediately add them to the BBL. No buyer has a legitimate reason to have private feedback.

As a fun aside, since you did get their address for the order before you cancelled it, hang on to it. Use it with telemarketers and other agencies that ask for your address that don't really need it.
