Thad Thurman Depriest is a scam artist and a cheap ass bastard. I had to put up with 16 scams/defects out of 300+ sales (10 wins- 4 full refunds-2 settled partial refunds) in 2018 but this one is the most stupid scam I ever experienced.

On Wednesday, Thad Depriest filed a return request & provided a picture claiming that the Justice League DVD is not brand new and sealed but that the DVD has been "resealed" on the top & bottom right corner

In response, I provided pictures of the 3 justice leagues dvds I still have in my inventory + went to Wal-Mart and took 5 pictures of Justice League DVDs on the shelf. All of my pictures clearly showed that Justice League DVD is brand new and that the manufacturer sealed the DVD in a style that is consistent with the pictures provided by me and Thad Depriest.

Even though the buyer didn't deserve the refund, I was generous enough to offer a partial refund of $2.45 to end this case. Instead this lowlife declined the partial refund offer.

I reported him on eBay online and contacted customer service so ebay is aware of this scammer.
The next day, buyer escalates case to eBay and eBay decides to give Thad Depriest a full refund out of its own pockets without any impact to me. While I am pleased that I didn't have to refund a penny, ebay is enabling this scammer to continue cheating sellers by giving him a refund on their end.

Thad Thurman Depriest claims to be an Information Technology professional and that he is an "experienced business systems analyst with skills in system analysis, testing, project management, etc".

If he claims that he is an experienced professional then how can he not tell the difference between a DVD that's brand new and a DVD that is not? It's obvious that this scam artist lied on his resume to get jobs at Michigan and other employers.

Worst thing is he is married to a beaner (Monica Perez Depriest) who is a smelly ugly disgusting swamp rat animal who married Thad so she can get a green card.

DO NOT SELL to Thad Depriest. I was this close to stop selling on eBay in 2019 if the case didn't end in my favor. If ebay would have forced me to give him a refund for a stupid excuse such as this, then it would be impossible for sellers to sell any high value items on eBay.
