Details: | The buyer falsely claims that the item in their order was received in a damaged or significantly not as described (SNAD) condition, which is not true or justified. As stated in our numerous communications with the buyer, we had verified the item was working with its video output (S-Video) and audio outputs (stereo RCA) prior to listing. In fact, for the record and to provide full disclosure, with the very GameCube (Nintendo GameCube Console - Black - BUNDLE (#324571969083), see here: https://www.ebay.com/fdbk/feedback_profile/hifihedgehog) that was also just sold within the last 30 days and had received glowingly positive feedback, that cable had been tested without any audiovisual (A/V) output issues contrary to what they are falsely stating here as a means to weasel out. Further, as a secondary level of protection for both ourselves and the buyer, we provided fully insured shipment coverage for the item in the rare event that the item was damaged on arrival (DOA). Of particular note, the buyer did not contact us about the damaged state of the item until well beyond 14 days after the time of purchase. We are seriously concerned that the buyer damaged this expensive, rare, high-ticket item and/or has had buyer's remorse and is trying to strong-arm us into a return that is not justified based on the foregoing. |
