Your welcome, glad you were able to catch this scam before it was too late. Be sure to always go through ebay and not sell outside. I would recommend not selling to Malaysia or Nigeria ever.

Yup I had the same story just this week with the same guy they look to be pros in the scamming Business he offered me 200 dollars more then I listed it on eBay I sent back the confirmation number just to see what happens but I didn't sent the package out he never got back to me so I figured it's a spam and got lucky not to fall for it

He just messaged me on eBay. He makes new accounts to buy one item.

Update: After being scammed I thought I lost my phone. I didn't give up and finally got my package back, big thanks to the Malaysian Postal Service. For those of you that may have been scammed already and feel like it's too late. This is what I did

1. Go online and File a fraud report with the US Postal Inspector at usps.com. You can also call customer support and file and inquiry.
2. Contact Malaysian Post at care@pos.com.my, inform them of the details, tracking number, and destination address.
3. Continue to follow up and be persistent.
4. Also contact the Royal Malaysian Police and report the crime. Hopefully this jerk will be caught.

Above all be aware and double check everything.

Did any of you that scammed see any money or any activity in your PayPal account? because I just got scammed and confronted the guy about it and he Consistently try's to reassure me it's not a scam

DO NOT Ship the item until you see money deposited into your PayPal account. That's their scam, he will tell you that you need to ship the item in order for the money to process, and they will most likely send a fake email appearing to be from PayPal. I strongly suggest that you don't make any deals unless its through eBay.

I just got scammed a 2011 Macbook Air! The same guy contacted me. I contacted paypal and usps and they said they would try to get the item back to me.
I found Ben Alonso's IP address. It says he sent the email in Mountain View, California. I hope they can get it back. Right now, it is in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

He told me to request the money on paypal and he sent a spoof email. It says service@paypal.com and the verification says verifyservice@alarmists.com
and the money send never asks for verification and the delivery address. They said to contact USPS Inspectors General and I filled out a form.

I contacted USPS about the Macbook Air that I got scammed. I also went to the PayPal HQ in San Jose good thing it was close to me.

This guy named Norian Lawansen messaged me through eBay with the eBay name bkt2phone-1 and offered me money for my laptop and also sent me a fake PayPal email. He expected me to ship without receiving payment. This idiot had multiple spelling errors in his "PayPal" email. He also goes by the name Hammad.

He sent email to me. I received the same message but I did my homework. I am pretty aware that these people are out there so I sent the guy the invoice to see what his next move would be and I then received an email that looked a lot like a PayPal email, which I forwarded to their fraud department.

I knew something was funky the moment the "email" from paypal arrived.

First, the email was what everyone else said:

Secondly, I had paypal open, and no transaction was made.

Third, the "email" from paypal was not official, and was actually just a name for the same email as the original senders; the one that everyone else has mentioned: [mesutdemax@gmail.com]. An actual email from paypal doesn't have any "certified websites" listed on the email itself.

Be aware everyone. The email this time around was: [mesutdemax@gmail.com]
But the content of the email was predicable and exactly the same.

I sent item to him. But before item arrived in Malaysia, I contacted with local post office and police. Finally I got the package back after a month but now iphone in it. Just box, earphone, charger. I was thinking some people working in post office got involve with this. Because as long as the package wasn't delivered, who could touch this package and open it.
