Buyer purchased online and the goods were despatched 2 days later and sent with tracking via courier. The customer lives in an apartment block and on the first attempt the delivery could not be made so a card was left for the customer to contact the courier company. she did not do so and a week later contacted us abusively because the courier had not delivered the goods to her. We explained that she needed to make contact with them directly to arrange the redelivery however instead we contacted the courier and asked them to redeliver. The tracking shows that the goods were redelivered and left in the mail room. The customer claimed that the goods were never received and demanded a full refund and even went to Fair Trading to complain even though we explained that we had asked the courier company to investigate and ask the driver to confirm that the goods had been delivered to the correct address. It is our belief that the customer did indeed receive the goods and scammed us by insisting that the courier was lying and demanding a refund and creating more paperwork and issues for us by going to Fair Trading. |
