Claimed $600 high end fur and wool shawl had "6 noticeable holes" when he received. This is a case of buyers remorse. Item listed at Buy It Now or Make An Offer started his offers at $400 on an $800 list. He finally accepted my counteroffer at $600. He said he needed $250 back so he could have item repaired. I asked for pictures which he sent me a picture of one hole photographed in two pictures (same piece of lint in same spot) and said the rest were to hard to photograph. I have documented proof in pictures which ebay says isn't good enough. This guy immediately committed feedback extortion which I reported. CS agreed with me at that time. Ebay then says I should take the return and refund his money on a now damaged item. HELL NO! He left me negative feedback calling me a scammer. CS assured me before a case was opened that it would go in my favor from what they saw. Case opened.....ruled in his favor and informed me that money would be taken from my account once tracking info showed it was returned to me. And the most ludicrous part? I can't appeal the case until item is returned and his money refunded. Where is the protection for the seller. Anyway.....so glad there is a forum like this. I will be frequenting this site before accepting offers in the future.
