Customer reached out to us looking to purchase a rare (in this size) Money Tree in a 14” Pot. We ship plants all over the United States, but nothing this huge. Only small plants. We told him we don’t ship plants this size. He said no problem, he’ll pay for the shipping. We sourced the tree for him. He told us he works for UPS and can send us a Pre-Paid label. We sent him an invoice. He paid for the invoice and sent us the shipping label. We packaged it up for him and UPS picked up the package from our store. Fast forward one week, the plant is delivered to him (confirmed with UPS tracking). He files a dispute “no knowledge of transaction”. We sent the bank all of our email communications, the invoice, and even text communication, the shipping label and the confirmation of delivery. The bank of course went in his favor. Were a small business barely making ends meet and now were out $200. Can’t believe people like this exist in the world.
