Details: | Sold Verizon iPhone 7 plus (cracked) on eBay, traditional auction; he asked for the IMEI #, but I would only provide Serial #. He eventually paid and the package was marked as delivered on February 6th, 2020. The buyer did not submit the "item not received" claim until March 12th, 2020. When I submitted a tracking claim to USPS on March 16th, I noticed the delivery address looked odd with the "NP000143007" at the end, so i decided to research the address. When i googled the address, (27 Merry Ln NP000143007 East Hanover NJ 07936 US), it appears to be a business named Velox (https://www.veloxshipping.com/). When I then googled the username of the eBay buyer "vovpa33", the first result is for badbuyerlist.org. (https://badbuyerlist.org/buyer/d1d304c58183e70d06fbad42). I believe this attempt to get a refund is false and they are trying to scam me out of money. The buyer also submitted a PayPal case indicating that they did not receive the merchandise. I submitted the same above information and a decision was made in my favor, the case was closed, and the hold was removed from my PayPal account. Today, March 23rd, 2020, the USPS tracking claim results proved that the package was delivered. "We apologize for the delay. Item appears to be "Delivered" as addressed on Thursday, 02/06/2020 to 27 Merry Lane N000143007, East Hanover, NJ 07936 to Vitaliy Kirilovich." |
