I had my Hilti drill bits up for sell with a picture of 5 bits but stated in description buyer would only be receiving 1. Once he got the item he complained to me asking for the other 4 I let him no he was to only receive one as staighted in the description but told him I would gladly except a return minus 20% restocking fee as well as he was responsible for the return shipping.
2. He complained to EBay that it was false advertising and they told him to return the bit and refunded his money.
3. Once I got the bit back it was not the original bit I had shipped him but an old off brand used one.
4. I called EBay and they said the case was closed and could not be reopened.

This is why it is so important to make your listing correct and NOT display more items in he photo than each listing provides. I was once taken by a misleading photo on ebay. The seller did not place a quantity notice clearly or did not place it at all. I kept the item, but I would never buy from such a seller again. Even if the item description clearly states you are receiving ONE (1) item, but the photo shows more than one, it is still misleading somehow since ebay has all these interruptive offers now that distract the buyer and the description of the item becomes so scattered that the buyer often MISSES to read the tiny warning that HEY UJOE, YOU'RE GETTING ONLY ONE instead of what's depicted! That should be posted in the HEADING and not just somewhere at the bottom of the description! Still, in this case the buyer seems to be upset but also dishonest and that is a fraud to return a wrong item. Yet the seller paid for their sales tactics.
