Same thing here!! Except this time he sent me a message on ebay asking me how much I could lower the price of my item. I told him I would lower it & he said "ok, send paypal payment request including 1 day shipping express". I find out how much the shipping would cost & send him a payment request, then realize I'd much rather have him select to buy through ebay that way it's on record. So I change the price of my item to include the exact shipping cost & ask him to click buy now that way it is on record.

A few days later he apologizes for the delayed payment and makes up something about Easter & says he has sent payment & please send him the tracking number. He doesn't buy from my listing so it is still up. I get 2 emails from Pay-Pal_payment@accountant.com saying for the buyer & the sellers safety the funds have been withdrawn from the buyers account but will not be released to me until I submit a scanned proof of the tracking number & shipping label and I should see the payment 24-48 hours after I do so. So I purchase the shipping label online, print it and scan it then head to the post office.

While I'm in the post office I'm a little leery because this is my first time selling on ebay & I don't know how Paypal works, so I ask the gentleman at the counter if he knows anything about Paypal & I show him the email I received mentioning its not from an email @paypal.com. He tells me I better wait for the 24-48 hours for the money to show up in my Paypal account because otherwise the buyer would get the shipment before I even get my money. So I leave.

The next day I have more emails from the buyer asking about the tracking number. I call Paypal to find out if this is how they go about the selling process & to see if it was a legit email. I find out no, this is not an email from Paypal and they NEVER put a hold on funds, they go directly to the buyer. THANK GOD I didn't send out the package, it was a $650 cell phone!!

The buyers "name" was Bobby Ray and the email he was using is bobbyray228@yahoo.com and the shipping address is almost identical.

I've also had a strange experience with this address (8627 NW 54th St) but with a different PS number through eBay. I sold something, got legit payment through paypal, shipped the item which got refused and returned but no refund was request and there has been no contact from the buyer.

He's moved up a league. This was the billing address used in a fraud case when my credit card details were stolen.

Same to me. Wants to buy something-> asks to send a paypal invoice-> claims that has already sent the money (liar!!!). I haven`t got any payment and the Paypal representative confirmed that no payment was made.

Ebay SCAMMER!! BEWARE!!!

This address is a courier. That is the problem. They have a bunch f customers. I just sold something and is this address. But im going to dropp it myself, but i will ask for a copy of the invoice in case something happen.

Just had the same guy try to buy from our store. He's in the Dominican Republic and has orders shipped to a shipping forwarder in Florida. We treat Doral Florida as a foreign country and require wire transfers only for orders placed to that address because this is a very common scam we run into. Doral has a lot of sipping forwarders who help these guys out. If you call them and tell them to send the package back, they lie and say they don't have it.

We are a Freight Forwarder company so we receive thousands of packages on daily basis from internet purchases from Dominican Republic clients.

Our clients are decent and normal people from Dominican Republic that love to buy via Internet.

But we are not exempt to be used for receiving a package from a fraudulent order, as well as the companies that delivered the package to us (Fedex, UPS, USPS, bettween many other). They were used as well.

So, for that reason, if the supplier contact us as soon as they detect is a fraudulent order, we cooperate with them to stop delivery. Its all we can do.
