Buyer sent in best offer, and I accepted their best offer deal. About a half hour later, this person tried to get me to give them a discount. She gave me a sad story that her mom died, and she felt she was owed a discount. Well, I don't know about anyone else out there, but life doesn't owe you nothing when someone lives or someone dies. It blew my mind what this buyer was asking me to do. First off, don't bid on the item. Secondly, I already accepted an best offer bid that the buyer sent in. I didn't make her send the offer, she send the offer on her own accord. Thirdly, shame on this person for using their dead parent as an excuse to get a discount out of anyone. WTF!! Well, to finish the story she emailed me like 8 times, asking questions and persisting for the discount. I told her I don't understand why you would bid in the first place, if you knew you couldn't afford the item. Then I preceded to tell her that why would you ask questions, when my full description is posted? I told her, I didn't feel comfortable with this transaction, so I sent in a cancellation. Of course, she ended up paying for the item without question. However, I have a feeling this buyer is a scammer. She claims she is not, but seems like she is not a good person to deal with in the first place. I would just block her. If you are a seller and you are dealing with this person, I feel sorry for you.
