First off, you knew right off the bat what you'd deal with when you sell software. First off its a tangable good not a digital product. Like every other physical product, this buyer doesnt get any refund until he returns the original product in the original condition. PayPal will side with the buyer in a "not as described dispute" but will not be refunded by law until the product is back in your possession. So there is now way he got the item for free unless you said to keep it or gave into his demands.
