Buyer ordered a laptop from us and contacted amazon customer support to report it arrived damaged. Amazon CS provided them a 21% partial refund without verifying any of the claims. We reached out directly asking for photos of damage for insurance purposes and he never replied.

This same buyer then later returned the item to us claiming the computer doesn't sleep. We got it back and it had dried liquid ALL OVER the exterior top, bottom, screen, palm rest, and keyboard area. Keyboard area had debris in and under the keys. The overall condition of the laptop was abhorrent and came to no surprise to us that it didn't even turn on. The buyer had also returned everything in the original box we sent it in and there were no signs of any damage so we can confirm he made false claims to amazon support in the initial damage claim. We issued a 50% restocking fee for severe damage (the most allowed by amazon in these cases)

Buyer contacted amazon customer support to dispute the restocking fee and amazon CS reached out to us for more documentation of the restocking fee. We provided all the photos we have as well as packaging to show them that every claim the buyer has made is entirely false. They agreed to maintain the restocking fee we elected to charge. The buyer then sent us an angry email to our support in which I (the owner) personally responded to each and every point of contention with photos showing otherwise as he claimed the item was in "original condition" and completely "mint". Buyer then proceeded to leave us negative feedback on amazon again stating he returned the item in "original condition" and demanding a full refund. Original condition was brand new factory sealed
