Item sold Fri. Night. Didn't want to pay. Reversed himself saying wasn't fair to seller and requested item to be shipped. Paid. Item shipped right away on Sat. using Parcel Post as it was in ad. Nothing hidden and no surprises. Three Large Lines in ad explained shipping, tracking, times, etc. Following Wed goes nuts in two communications about paying too much for 2-day Priority Mail (which was not listed or offered). Then claimed he contacted eBay and that I was supposed to cancel transaction (lie) and refund money. He threatened bad feedback if I didn't. I answered both communications concisely and politely explaining the situation and eBay policies. I encouraged him to show some integrity in a diplomatic way, and that his feedback whatever it might be was up to him. Although the ad had a no returns on it, I offered a full refund for original price plus original shipping if he paid to ship it back when it arrived. Next day (Thursday) he emailed back and said he shouldn't have said those things and he was sorry. (Friday Night) A message from eBay (real-time) informs me that he tried to open a buyer resolution case for not receiving item. eBay had told him it was too early and to wait for the item. It was delivered next day on Sat. One week after he paid (five business days).
Now I'm having to watch for PayPal and eBay refund attempts until that time expires so he doesn't pull a fast one. He paid 18 and change for a new item worth more and about 12 for shipping. Outrageous, I think not. Detailed explanations were given to him about everything but he seems to have huge mood swings as if (not saying there is) a personal problem might be involved. This guy is also a seller. Seems like my biggest nut-case buyers are for small amounts and are sellers as well. Go figure. No feedback left from this guy yet but I don't care. He won't be buying from me again. I blocked him.
