This buyer purchased an item from me and from first contact, she was incredibly rude and demanding in her communication with me.

I had listed the item as local pickup but agreed to arrange postage at buyer's expense. When I went to the post office Monday, I sent her a message with the total costs of postage and handling but she refused to pay and threatened me with negative feedback.

I then contacted ebay about my concerns and sent a request to cancel the transaction due to dispute over postage costs. The buyer declined and responded "you will post this on Monday with instructions and accessories". Ebay did nothing to assist.

I ended up sending the item as I needed the money I had received from the sale. I also wanted to avoid negative feedback but blocked the buyer from any future bids on my items.

1 week after I posted the item, I receive a message from the buyer claiming she hadn't received the item and one from paypal about an opened 'item not received' case.

Since I sent the item through standard post with tracking rather than signature, the claim was found in her favour and I was made to refund her money.

A few days later, I get a letter in the post to me return address. "Thanks for the free DVD player loser!"

A warning to all sellers, block this scammer!
