Details: | Customer contacted by phone to make a claim for a return on a PS4 video game that she said "wouldn't play/disk unreadable." This is around a month later from time of purchase, and with my store, purchasers have 30 days to make a return online.
She was told she needed to ship it back and that we need to receive the item before refund. She did ship it back, and upon inspection the disks looked dirty. After wiping down the disks, they looked fine. Play tested them, and they worked fine. Nothing wrong as far as we could tell. My guess is either she isn't very smart in regards to video game disks and wiping them clean before making assumptions. Or she had her kids play the game until they got bored/beat it, and made the return while there was still time. -- Whether it's being sketchy or being stupid, I figured it's a good enough reason to give people a heads up if they have a similar interaction with her. It could have gone worse, too. I got the game back intact and she hasn't filed any complaints with the website I use. |
