Earlier this month, I sold an expensive computer part to a buyer named QianDen Ming on Ebay. The buyer used a guest account created that day. The buyer had the shipping address 1140 River Rd, New Castle DE 19720-9101.

After googling this address, I contacted the buyer, as this address is a freight forwarding address associated with well documented cases of fraud. He assured me that this was his "office". I contacted Ebay and they told me to send the item. I sent it - USPS tracking #XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. It was confirmed delivered. The day it arrived, he opened a claim with Ebay saying it was defective. This was predicable, as was his "same zipcode" scam. I want to personally thank the good people on this site for giving me a heads up.

Ebay told me to issue a return label. I did that. Shortly after, Ebay banned this account as "Suspicious buyer for item". The Buyer then predictably uploaded an altered tracking number, followed by the correct one. I went to USPS today and got a trace - the tracking number was delivered to a different address. and in fact is a shopping center with multiple businesses. The buyer sent it from 1516 Motor Pkwy, Islandia NY 11749-5222. I know they have used this 'sent from' address on multiple scams.

Additionally, I was told to contact the postal inspectors based on this fraudulent activity. The buyers refund claim on Ebay was rejected, and so this buyer is now attempting to use Paypal to fulfill the scam. The buyer sent some garbage to a different address and uploaded the tracking number today, showing that it was delivered 3 days ago. Paypal is going to end up siding with the buyer to avoid a chargeback, regardless of what evidence i provide. I will then use my card to hit paypal with a chargeback to get a full refund and be done with this fiasco.

The seller is in breach of ebay contact by providing customer detailed. The seller can also be sued for giving out personal information. Ebay has done this before to seller who uses this site. Been providing all buyer who personal information leak to eBay. So ebay can take action on this site and the seller.
