Buyer bought 4 pairs of short pants from us with total payment of roughly US$65. We shiped the items from China using the shipping method specified in the listing. Before the shipping time specified in the listing was over, the buyer began writing to us asking where the parcel was and requested refund. We asked him to wait for some mroe time because it was Chinese New Year after he purchased, and public holidays shouldn't be included in the shipping time. After some exchanges of email messages, we refunded him first under the premise that he'd pay us back once he received the items. We emailed him asking whether he got them on Feb 9, but he didn't reply us even after several days. A large parcel liks this is very unlikely to lose in the postal system (about 1kg - over 2 pounds). We've felt the the business environment on eBay has worsened significantly in the past 1 year as more and more scam artists using eBay's policy loopholes against sellers. We thus have to increase our price and shipping charges to cover the risk involved in doing business here.
