Details:

Mary Warner of Columbia, SC purchased a dress from us early in February. She then sent us an email saying she wanted to return the dress.

Specifically, she stated:
'I loved this dress and ordered for a special event but i was way too big! I usually wear petite so I figured I would try but it did not fit :( thank you for be so prompt and an amazing seller though!'

When we got the dress back, it was stained and dirty. She had indeed worn it to the special event and was just 'borrowing' it from us.

We had to end up giving her a full refund because eBay would not stand behind us.

We lost $112 on this dress because we can't resell it.

Mary Warner of Columbia, SC is a liar. Shame on you, Mary. We're just a mom and pop business - we can't take losses like this. We have bills to pay, you know.

Think about that next time you want to party in a dress and send it back filthy. Have some consideration for other people.

You should limit your risk from these types of people. You know what paypal will cover as a seller and what it would not. Set a limit on the amount of money each buyer can send you from a sale. Know the state which commits the most fraud, causes you the most problems, and the nationality. Set policies and set a warranty period. That helps to a certain point, but PayPal will always side with the seller when they use a credit card for the fear of a chargeback and the thought of not being able to take it from you. We put a $50 limit on customer purchase and no longer sell large ticket items.

Sosa games purchased several Pokemon games from my eBay store. They swapped out my authentic games for counterfeit games. I reported them to eBay. eBay reimburse me.
